Artyom Somov
Artyom Somov was born in Sarapul, a small town in the Udmurtia Republic, Russia. He graduated from Izhevsk Technical University in 2004 with a degree in engineering. As a university student, Artyom worked as a film editor. He then mastered the art of being a motion designer and cameraman.Artyom joined RT Documentary in 2005 and advanced from editor to film director. During his years with RTD, he worked on several dozen projects and visited over 40 countries. Since 2022, he works in the Special Military Operation area, shooting documentaries on the frontlines.
