Mikhail Burov graduated from the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth, and Tourism. After that, he travelled a lot and shot amateur videos.Since 2013, Mikhail has participated in Expeditions around the world, making commercial documentaries, as well as short travel videos.From 2014 to 2016 he studied at the Moscow Film School at the Faculty of Cinematography. Mikhail joined RT Documentary in 2022.Mikhail often shoots documentaries straight from the frontlines, spending nights in the trenches with fighters. His recent documentaries 'Closer to Victory', 'Notes from an American in Donbass', 'The Frontline Grind' capture firsthand accounts of people enduring daily struggles on the frontlines.
