Aleksandr Avilov
Aleksandr started his career as an assistant director and assistant operator at the Saint-Petersburg documentary film studio in 1993. He graduated from the Saint-Petersburg Institute of Culture in 1997 and completed a special course in co-production and journalistic investigation at the Baltic Media Centre in Denmark in 1999.Since then he has directed for various TV channels, including Kultura, Rossiya, NTV, Channel 5, etc. Aleksandr has made more than a hundred documentaries and TV programmes.He has worked for RTD since 2012.
