Aron Mikhailov was born in Nalchik, in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, and lived in Pyatigorsk before moving to Moscow. He studied international journalism at the Institute of International Relations at Pyatigorsk State University. Right after graduating, he worked as a producer and press conference moderator for TASS in the North Caucasus. After completing the RT School training program, he moved to Moscow and started working as an editor in the newsroom at RT International. After gaining extensive experience in news, Aron realized he was drawn to more creative formats. He moved to the Documentary Broadcasting Directorate as a documentary producer. Since then, he has produced around 30 films.
